WE HAD A POETRY PARTY WITH A PARTY OF POETS!
As part of the National Poetry Day shenanigans Hawke’s Bay Readers and Writers Trust held an extravaganza of beautiful minds to entertain Napier like the bards of old.
The audience made themselves cosy at the Cabana, whilst a cabal of poets entertained, confronted, inspired and provoked.
The Bay is of course the centre of the creative universe, so local poets joined with national bards to welcome them into our world.

It was a night to be cherished. We all sat back and relaxed in one of the Bay’s warmest, most welcoming environments and let the poets transport us.
A Party of Poets is a ticketed event brought to our community by Hawke’s Bay Readers and Writers Trust each year in celebration of National Poetry Day. Look out for next years gig!
