Something for Everyone

The programme for this year's Readers and Writers Festival is soon to be launched, but in the meantime we have a few tasters of what you might expect.

We will take you back into the past, through letters and stories; we will make you think about how we get our news and whether we are getting all the facts; there will be humour and stories about cats; a look inside the New Zealand music industry plus award winning memoirists. Outstanding women from the past and present will inspire us and the best among our poets will send our minds abuzz with their imagery and wordplay.

In short there is something for everyone, readers and writers alike. Look out for the programme at libraries, bookshops and cafés soon.
