HBRW 2024 - Book Launch - Mary-anne Scott

HBRW 2024 - Book Launch - Mary-anne Scott

All writers, readers and book lovers are warmly invited to the launch of Mary-anne Scott's new novel The Mess of Our Lives. Please come and celebrate with a glass of wine at the grand finale of the Hawkes Bay Readers and Writer's Festival.

Mary-anne is from Havelock North and this, her seventh book, is titled The Mess of Our Lives. It's a story that will appeal to teenage readers through to adults. The backdrop to this story is Jordan Baxter's house which is dangerously overrun with filth and clutter. As with many of Mary-anne's stories, family loyalty lies at its centre as Jordan Baxter finds his own path, both literally and figuratively, through the muddle.
